SUFFERING IS STRENGTH
GRIEF IS GROWTH
DETH IS LIFE
Why is yoga called a “practice?”
Yoga is called a "practice" because it involves a continual process of learning, self-discovery, and improvement. Unlike a fixed skill or destination, yoga emphasizes the journey of personal growth over time.
If yoga is a practice, what are we practicing for?...
Practice suffering
Suffering is an unavoidable part of life — if yoga only teaches us about peace, how will we learn to cope with suffering when it happens?
When we understand that suffering is inevitable, we understand that it is a gift.
The gift suffering gives us is strength. As we deepen our understanding of our strength, we find our purpose.
Suffering is not your purpose. Suffering leads you to your purpose. The more suffering we can learn to endure, the stronger we become, and the deeper we understand our purpose.
Yoga will not give you purpose.
It will help you find what is already there.
